Thank you for your interest in staying at our campsite. The following General Terms and Conditions apply to reservations at Camping Hobby AG, Lehnweg 16, 3800 Unterseen-Interlaken. By reserving a room or a pitch, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
You can make your booking for a stay online via our website. Since 2025, inquiries are no longer accepted. Your booking is only binding once availability has been confirmed and the full payment has been received. For pitch reservations, the booking is only binding when availability is confirmed and either the full payment is received or a deposit of CHF 200.00 is paid. If the bank payment is not received within 7 days after reservation, the campsite management may reassign the booked pitch or room. Once we receive your payment (for credit card payments, this is immediately after the successful transaction), we will send you a booking confirmation by email. If you want to change the booking details (arrival/departure date or room type) after confirmation, a processing fee of CHF 30.00 will apply. Please note that a CHF 200.00 deposit is only available for amounts of CHF 400.00 or more in the low season and CHF 500.00 or more in the high season. Each pitch allows a maximum of six people, including children under 6 years old. For more than six people, a second pitch must be booked. The maximum room occupancy is two adults per room. If the maximum number of people is exceeded, the booking will be immediately canceled without entitlement to a refund.
Minors between 16 and 18 years old who make a booking must present a written permission from a legal guardian upon arrival at the campsite. If this permission is missing, the management is not bound by the contract and may re-rent the reserved room without compensation. Children under 16 are not allowed to stay on the campsite alone.
When booking a pitch or room via the website, full payment is due immediately. Your credit card will be charged at the time of booking. Please note that bank transfers can take up to five business days. Bookings paid by bank transfer must be made at least six days before the arrival date (excluding weekends).
Bookings and vouchers are non-transferable and are only valid for the traveler specified at the time of booking (including accompanying travelers if applicable). If notified in advance, a name change request may be made for a processing fee. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash.
Booking fees may apply, such as PayPal or bank fees, which are not covered by Camping Hobby AG.
Pitch requests will be considered where possible. However, the campsite management reserves the right to change the pitch number at any time and allocate an equivalent replacement. A change in the pitch does not entitle the guest to a price reduction or refund. The same applies to rooms.
Pitch/Stand: 2 nights in off & shoulder season, 5 nights in high season
Room: 2 nights in off & shoulder season, 4 nights in high season
Pitches are reserved until 6:00 p.m. on the arrival day. Pitches must be vacated by 11:00 a.m. on the departure day. Room check-in is from 3:00 p.m., and check-out is by 11:00 a.m. No arrivals are accepted after 9:00 p.m.
A written booking confirmation must be presented upon check-in.
The invoice must be paid upon arrival.
If you arrive late without prior notification by 6:00 p.m., the booking will be considered canceled. No refund will be given. In the event of an early departure or no show, the full amount is due.
No reduction can be granted on tourist and accommodation taxes.
Groups (from 8 people) can request offers by email.
Cancellations must be made in writing via email. Different cancellation fees apply depending on the time before arrival:
Up to 60 days before arrival: CHF 30.00
59 – 31 days before arrival: 50% of the booked arrangement
30 – 14 days before arrival: 75% of the booked arrangement
Less than 13 days before arrival: 100% of the booked arrangement
Up to 71 days before arrival: CHF 30.00
70 – 60 days before arrival: 50% of the booked arrangement
59 – 31 days before arrival: 75% of the booked arrangement
Less than 30 days before arrival: 100% of the booked arrangement
Accurate information on tents, caravans, and vehicles is required. Incorrect information does not entitle the guest to a refund.
Pets are allowed (maximum of 2 per unit). An additional charge applies for pets in rooms. Dogs must always be kept on a leash.
All guests will receive the campsite regulations upon arrival, which must be observed.
You are liable for damages you cause. The campsite management is not liable for theft, losses, or natural hazards.
By making a booking, you agree that your personal data may be used for administrative, statistical, and marketing purposes.
Travel and cancellation insurance as well as common sense are recommended.
The place of jurisdiction is Thun, Switzerland.
These terms and conditions apply from January 1, 2025.
